As an Intermediate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting the analysis and design of a wide variety of structural systems, ranging from underground mining infrastructure to industrial buildings. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including in-house engineering disciplines and third-party architects, to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on complex design projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation, registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- In-depth knowledge of structural codes, regulations, and design standards.
- Familiarity with drafting and design software tools.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work.
