Payroll WC & UI Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance and administration related to Unemployment Insurance, Workers' Compensation, and Verification of Employment. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in payroll processing, with specific experience in UI, WC, and VOE administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software – Paylocity and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
