Job Description
The IS Mechanical Designer I will design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles. Responsibilities include working closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs for assigned projects, conducting field surveys, producing design documents, and delivering concepts and designs according to project deadlines.
Requirements
- Associate degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong technical skills
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Planning skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
