The Energy Systems Analyst II is responsible for planning and independently performing most assignments with technical guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval of proposed project plans.
Requirements
- Assist in the production of projects that are on-time, within-budget and meet the requirements of industry standards & codes and client specifications.
- Conduct site surveys to determine existing facility conditions either independently or with senior level staff/project manager.
- Perform mechanical system calculations including load calculations, ventilation schedules, etc.
- Interact in meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed either independently or with senior level staff/project manager.
- Review and analyze drawings of mechanical systems for projects
- Assist the development team in the coordination with other discipline including energy modeling, financial modeling, lighting, design, etc.
- Attend in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas related to building systems.
- Participate in industry organizations and attend events, meetings, and activities.
- Uphold company owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values.
- Directly support Senior Level Staff in project scope creation, and can lead scope discussions independently with owners, clients, and senior level etc
- Support the Energy Analyst III in the review of preliminary engineering deliverables for projects, including equipment inventories, energy conservation measures, scoping narratives, schematic drawings, definitive transaction document exhibits, etc.
- Actively participate in company initiatives to further refine development processes and tools.
- May train less experienced engineers and/or technicians while continuing to meet project deadlines
