Camp Jewish Content Coordinator

The Camp Jewish Content Coordinator is a part-time seasonal position that brings ruach (spirit!) and joyful Jewish learning to the experience of campers and staff at Lessans Camp JCC. The role involves creating activities that connect Jewish values to everyday camp life and working directly with campers and staff of all ages.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Jewish culture, values, and traditions.
• Strong background in Jewish education.
• Experience in camp, youth group or Jewish programming.
• Relevant higher education preferred.
• Ability to get on the floor to participate and supervise activities.
• Ability to move equipment and supplies as required.
• Prior experience working with school aged children with all abilities.
• Ability to engage with campers and staff of all ages.
• Ability to adapt all planned activities to include children with disabilities.
• Strong written and spoken language skills.
• Ability to get to and from work each day.
• Accepting of, and sensitive to, diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changes in schedule, responsibilities, and Lessans Camp JCC activities.
