Loan Officer

Benchmark Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer to build and maintain relationships with customers to source loan applications. This role involves generating leads, analyzing mortgage applications, and providing clear communication about loan programs to applicants. The company emphasizes a service-oriented mindset and a passion for mortgage lending.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to generate leads

• Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Knowledge of various loan products (FHA, VA, conventional, etc.)
• General knowledge of credit reports and debt-to-income ratios
• Ability to adapt to market changes
• Experience requirements: One to two years residential mortgage origination experience required
• Education/Licensing Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Licensed in market area and registered nationally in NMLS.
• Professional certifications (CMB, CMC, CMPS) preferred.
• Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment, requires normal vision and hearing.
• Working at a desk, using a phone, and computer.
