Business Intelligence Analyst

Belong Health is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive strategic business decisions by organizing, analyzing, and visualizing population health data. The role requires expertise in translating complex datasets into actionable insights, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and risk adjustment initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and automation of reports are key components of this position.

Requirements

• Lead the development of dynamic, best-in-class Tableau BI visualizations
• Develop and maintain analytics, reports, and dashboards focused on healthcare utilization, cost, operations, risk adjustment, and HEDIS/ACO quality measures
• Analyze trends in claims data, provider performance, and patient outcomes to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement
• Support HCC risk adjustment initiatives by evaluating risk scores and diagnostic gaps
• Monitor and assess HEDIS Stars quality measures to drive performance improvement strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
• Design and automate recurring reports and ad hoc analyses
• Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting and analytics functions
