As a Mechanical Solar Installer I - Field Services, you'll be part of bringing solar energy to life, offering physical and general labor support for solar panel system projects. You'll work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed successfully and gain hands-on experience in industrial construction practices.
Requirements
- Learn to install mechanical and electrical components of a solar energy system
- Learn to safely work around the electrical wiring of solar array/systems (AC and DC)
- Learn to run conduit and cables from solar panels to combiner boxes
- Assist with the layout and construct solar modules/arrays and mounting hardware
- Learn to mount mechanical and structural racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
