Manager, Test Facility Equipment and Tooling Design

Beehive Industries is seeking a Manager, Test Facility Equipment and Tooling Design to lead a team of designers in designing test facility equipment and assembly tooling. The company is committed to powering American defense through additive manufacturing and is looking for a strong leader with expertise in design software tools and additive manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Design from an accredited university or college
• At least 10 years of experience in the design of complex additive or gas turbine components
• 3+ years in a leadership position leading or managing a team
• Strong expertise in design software tools (e.g., NX, Teamcenter, ANSYS)
• Experience with system-level CAD models, parametric modeling, and PLM/PDM systems.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies and design principles for additive manufacturing
• Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Passion for additive technology and a willingness to challenge design limitations to exploit additive capabilities fully
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
• Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
