Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer experience on basic and detailed design and project co-ordination of BESS on CCPP Power, Renewables projects. Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews engineering work within a discipline on a project or assignment in a global business unit.

Requirements

• A recognized bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 12 years.
• Electrical design of battery-based energy storage systems and know-how on its interface with DCS, BMS, EMS and/or SCADA.
• Battery and Inverter Sizing.
• Aware and develop expertise in fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
• Techno-commercial analysis of various technologies.
• BESS modeling in ETAP and system studies for CCPP Power, Renewable energy system using BESS.
• Prepare FAT and integration test plan for BESS systems.
• Technical review of documents provided by vendors.
• Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations in USA, Australia, Middle East etc.
• Client management, team management and process management skills.
• Know-how on other electrical Software is an added advantage.
• Project Management and Strong interpersonal skills with experience in an international multicultural environment
• Due diligence and expertise where you take the lead to review technical documents and installations to determine their compliance.
• Project management of bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
