1st Shift Quality Control Technician II (Microbiology)

The Quality Control Technician II (Microbiology) will be responsible for the microbial testing of materials to ensure they meet the high quality standards set by management and customers and will work cross-functionally with other members of Quality to ensure that specifications are being met.

Requirements

• Ensure SOPs are followed to meet and exceed quality standards set forth in specifications.
• Ensure team maintains highest levels of safety to build an environment where the team’s well-being is a top priority.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Collaborate and communicate with upper management.
• Perform testing and release of raw materials, components, bulks, and finished goods in a highly regulated environment.
• Document all results and report all non-conformances to specifications or standards.
• Generate GMP-compliant records as required by SOPs, methods, and regulations.
• Support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans.
• Own and lead special projects as assigned.
• Perform NOE and CAPA investigations.
• Perform environmental monitoring and sample collection in conjunction with the Plant Hygienist.
• Perform all other duties as required by Quality management.
