Income Tax Senior Manager, State and Local Tax

This STS Tax Manager, State and Local Taxation role requires advising clients on tax implications, researching and complying with regulations, and contributing to the firm's tax planning and strategy development. The position focuses on marketing, networking, and understanding changes in tax policies, while also working with core partners and senior managers to provide expert expertise to clients. The role also involves assessing and reducing taxes and expenses.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or other relevant field required
• Prior experience in state and local/multistate experience required
• Prior experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships preferred
• CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred
• Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Knowledge of US GAAP, ASC740-10, FAS109, and FIN48
