Job Description
BDO is seeking an Assurance Experienced Manager to oversee audit client engagements, particularly within a specific area of expertise. This role focuses on supervising, directing, and reviewing the results of audits, marketing, networking, and business development, while also ensuring engagement profitability and client input. Responsibilities include advising clients, resolving complex issues, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- Active licensed US CPA
- Six (6) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience
- Prior significant supervisory experience
- Industry expertise in one or more assurance specialty
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with assurance applications and research tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong people development and delegation skills
- Solid decision-making skills
- Ability to resolve complex accounting issues
