Job Description
BBPOS is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Stripe Terminal team. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality firmware and SDK components across the payment terminal devices, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to drive process improvements and bug fixes. The engineer will own the quality assurance process and contribute to overall software development efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance for embedded systems or firmware
- Ability to analyze software changes and assess impact on testing coverage
- Experience developing test strategies and test plans
- Ability to identify root causes of software defects
- Strong leadership, communication, ownership, and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
