We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics teacher who believes that every student can succeed in Mathematics. You will provide engaging and appropriately challenging learning experiences for high-achieving students, while fostering confidence and growth in those with developing skills or low confidence in numeracy.
Requirements
- Teaching certification, preferably with a master's degree in a related field
- Experience teaching Mathematics in IB programmes (MYP and DP preferred; we also welcome candidates with experience in AP, A-Level, IGCSE or similar, as training can be provided as part of our extensive professional development programme)
- Experience in international schools with excellent references indicating a passion for teaching Mathematics
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Strong belief that all students can access and succeed at Mathematics, and that the cornerstone of student confidence with numeracy is the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings.
- Innovative, connected, creative, collaborative, flexible and proactive professional with a passion for your subject.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students' varying abilities and interests, ensuring all learners are engaged and supported.
- Ability to incorporate varied instructional models and assessment methods to optimise student learning
