Requirements

• Must be fluent in American Sign Language Interpretation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be nationally certified with a CI, CT, or NIC designation
• Proficiency in English and at least one other language
• Strong communication skills and composure
• Flexibility and reliability
• Excellent listening and note-taking skills
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
• Completion of a Medical Interpreter Training Course
• Completion of a Legal Interpreter Training Course
