Laser Operator

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery to produce precision sheet metal components in accordance with engineering specifications and production requirements.

Requirements

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines to produce precision sheet metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify accuracy and quality
• Adjust laser parameters to maintain consistent cut quality across various materials and thicknesses
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and material records using ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
• Follow all safety protocols and support a clean, organized shop environment in accordance with 5S/6S standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production flow and resolve issues
