Bay Area Women's Center seeks a Residential Case Manager to join their team. This position supports the agency's domestic violence emergency shelter program. The ideal candidate has experience in a residential setting and exhibits empathy, self-leadership, and effective decision-making skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work/human services
- Experience in crisis intervention and group facilitation
- Knowledge of domestic violence (preferred)
- Crisis intervention skills
- Group facilitation skills
- Ability to be non-judgmental and work with a diverse population
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in residential services (preferred)
- Able and willing to work a flexible schedule
- Able and willing to travel
- Able to lift 20 pounds on occasion
- Able to climb stairs
- Able to safely operate agency equipment and machines
