Job Description
BayLegal is a non-profit law firm dedicated to providing free civil legal services to individuals and families in San Francisco's low-income communities. They offer legal advocacy, housing assistance, and community outreach, primarily in the Unlawful Detainer eviction process. The BayLegal Housing Law Practice Team focuses on preserving housing for tenants facing eviction, while collaborating with attorneys and community partners to reduce homelessness and improve economic stability.
Requirements
- Member of CA Bar in good standing or admitted to practice in another state and eligible to practice in California.
- Five or more years of experience as a licensed attorney, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Commitment to complying with California Rules of Professional Conduct, BayLegal funding requirements, and firm standards.
- Current proficiency in technological equipment, hardware, and software.
