Job Description
This school-based Mental Health Clinician position offers 8 weeks of paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs. The role involves providing therapy, counseling, case management, and preventing mental health issues within a multicultural community, with an emphasis on trauma-informed practices and collaboration with school staff and parents. Requirements
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology
- Licensed or close to licensure (preferred)
- Active and valid registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Experience working in schools within a diverse, urban community
- Understanding of trauma-informed practices
- Experience with Medi-cal paperwork
- Spanish language is a plus
