Job Description
Oakland Elementary Schools are seeking After School Program TK/K Instructors to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students. Instructors will create lesson plans, lead enrichment activities, and supervise students in academic subjects. The program emphasizes community, collaboration, and a commitment to youth development.
Requirements
- a) Associate Degree or higher
- b) 48 college units or c) pass the Instructional Aide exam
- c) Criminal background check and TB test clearance
- d) Ability to work every day during after-school hours and commit to an academic school year
- e) Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- f) Basic technology & computer skills (Word, Email, Workvivo, Workday, Google drive, etc.)
- g) Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
