Substitute Behavior Technician

Provides on-call substitute Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in client homes throughout DC. Runs goals created by a certified therapist; teaches skills related to language acquisition, behavior, social skills, and daily living skills. If there is no session, will perform administrative duties.

Requirements

• Attend on-call substitute sessions sessions and implement one-to-one behavior intervention services with clients and families throughout DC
• Conduct long term substitute sessions, one time make-up shifts, community outing shifts, and some permanent shifts throughout DC
• Conduct ABA sessions with primarily Autistic clients in-home, in schools, and community for clients between the ages of 2 and 26
• Implement written interventions with individual, specific goals written by the BCBA
• Collect plus/minus data on correct answers and write simple session summaries at every session
• Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain confidential knowledge of students and their families (HIPAA)
• Travel to sessions through the DC area
• Other duties as directed by management
