Job Description
AJ's Fine Foods is seeking a Sushi Chef to assist in operations, maintain a high standard of hygiene, and provide excellent customer service. The role involves production, inventory, menu planning, and adhering to health and safety regulations within the sushi department. The position requires a friendly, responsible individual capable of operating a cash register.
Requirements
- Responsible for production, ordering, and receiving, merchandising, and sanitization.
- Perform daily sushi preparation, including filleting fish and preparing sushi.
- Ensure compliance with health department and weight/measure requirements.
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness throughout the preparation area.
- Operate a cash register and handle proper tender.
