Job Description
This is a food city meat cutter position within a meat and seafood department. The role requires a keen eye for food safety and sanitation, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include ordering, cutting, grinding, weighing, wrapping, and labeling products, maintaining the meat department's cleanliness, and assisting with preparation of ready-to-go products.
Requirements
- Ordering, cutting, grinding, slicing, weighing, wrapping, and labeling meat according to quality, quantity, freshness, and food safety standards.
- Understanding product safety, sanitation, and handling procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly meat counter and display.
