Engineer Intern - Wastewater/Renewable Energy

This Engineer Intern position provides hands-on experience within the Wastewater/Renewable Energy sector at Bartlett & West. The intern will work in various engineering areas, including transportation, environmental, structural, and civil design, with an opportunity to network with other employees and learn about the company culture. This is a temporary, on-site position focused on practical experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication and decision-making skills
• Strong motivation toward accomplishing a common goal
• Effective communication skills
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Knowledge in MS Office Suite and technical software
• Basic knowledge of general engineering design practices or guidelines
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering majors preferred)
• 0-6 months experience in MS Office Suite required
• Experience or exposure with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and/or Civil 3D software preferred
• Travel Expectations: Must be able to travel in-state and out-of-state
• Minimum travel is 10% of the time depending on projects
• Travel in company vehicle or personal vehicle
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
