Job Description
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Fixed Maintenance Technician to join their team at the Goldstrike underground operations. The successful candidate will have a background in underground mining, maintenance, and metals.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of conveyor systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumps
- Basic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc
- Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job
