Job Description
Bardel Entertainment is seeking a Lighting Artist to join their team, bringing their animated worlds to life through lighting and shading. This role involves designing and executing complex lighting setups, collaborating with creative and technical teams, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic eye and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Lighting Artist
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Houdini)
- Proficiency using Katana
- Strong understanding of colour theory, composition, and cinematography principles
- Strong knowledge of shading languages (e.g., RenderMan, Arnold)
- Familiarity with compositing software (e.g., Nuke)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
