Job Description
Nexxis is a video-over-IP platform for integrated digital operating room solutions, focusing on high-resolution video and audio sharing. Barco is seeking a Backend Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the Nexxis Management Suite, which manages AV-over-IP streams and prepares software for AI and accelerated computing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- 3+ years experience in backend software development with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
- Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL design and development
- Familiarity with concepts related to accelerated computing is a significant advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
