System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer who can take responsibility for the operation, stability, and technical development of Bankdata's screening solutions for combating economic crime. The role is in the AML area and has a high strategic and business-oriented awareness.

Requirements

• Operation, development, and automation with a focus on Safeguard stable operation of screening solutions
• Oversee, operate, and troubleshoot the screening platform and its integrations
• Handle incidents, analyze root causes, and ensure clear, professional delivery to banks and internal partners
• Plan and implement upgrades, tests, and technical changes in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
• Optimize, automate, and strengthen robustness
• Expand monitoring, alerting, and forecasting
• Automate manual tasks and improve operational processes via scripting
• Ensure that the solution becomes faster, more stable, and more scalable over time
• Work with integration flows and data handling
• Work with and optimize message queues
• Improve data flows, performance, and data quality in the screening processes
• Analyze and optimize business-critical parameters, including license consumption, transaction flow, and data volume
• Contribute to the future direction of the product
• Participate in analysis of new functions, new suppliers, and future screening solutions
• Contribute technically to RFI/RFP work, business cases, and evaluation of potential SaaS alternatives
