Job Description
This Analyst role will support the domestic scouting department, assisting in the preparation for the First Year Player draft. This involves conducting video and data evaluations of amateur players, collaborating with scouts and front office staff, and tracking player development trajectories. The position is a full-time, in-office role based in Baltimore, MD.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of amateur baseball landscape.
- Experience working with baseball systems and player data.
- Demonstrated ability to write thorough, clear, and insightful scouting reports.
- Ability to synthesize diverse inputs into clear player evaluations.
- Curiosity and open-mindedness to challenge consensus and provide independent, well-supported opinions.
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
