Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Platforms

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Platforms will lead manufacturing design guidance and process reviews for new product platforms and related technologies. The position will involve planning, managing, and overseeing the manufacture of prototype units, identifying and developing new equipment/technology, and designing and implementing complex fixtures and tooling. The role will also involve project management, improvement and optimization of manufacturing steps and deliverables, and contributing to and optimizing manufacturing related key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline; Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in like industry: sheet metal fabrication and assembly
• Demonstrated project management skill and sound technical judgment
• Experience employing continuous improvement tools, including Lean, in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership and strong engineering skills
• Demonstrated collaborator, implementing new products/technologies in all operating regions
• Excellent communication skills
