Outpatient Coordinator

Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Services Coordinator to manage the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) department. This role involves scheduling appointments, pre-authorizations, patient registration, follow-up checks, insurance billing, and assisting the IOP Department Manager. The position is central to ensuring safe and high-quality patient care through prevention, intervention, and treatment.

Requirements

• Currently CPR certified (or obtain certification before hire)
• Handle-With-Care Physical Restraint Technique Training completion
• 6+ months of experience in HR, psychiatry, psychology, social services, or related field
