Job Description
R&D Software Engineer Lead & CISO to guide product team in developing and deploying scalable, AI-enabled systems, with end-to-end ownership of major backend and data initiatives, mentoring a team of engineers, and collaborating with Product, Research, Operation, Sales, and Information Security.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with 2+ years in a lead or tech-lead role
- Strong backend expertise: Java, C++, Scala, Python—plus cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS) and data frameworks (e.g., Spark)
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, microservices, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Well-honed software engineering practices: version control, CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews
- Experience architecting and deploying production-grade systems and mentoring engineers
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proactive leadership: self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable steering projects in ambiguity
- Passion for learning, innovation, and advancing AI-driven products
Benefits
- Base Salary Pay Range: $159k – $229k USD
