Job Description
Join the Operational Engineering & Planning team at BAE Systems Space & Mission System's as a Production Planner II, performing planning and production tasks, anticipating program needs, and expediting material and tool requirements for production, manufacturing, or assembly operations.
Requirements
- Review engineering drawings for parts, materials, and tooling needs
- Identify assembly and fabrication tooling needs
- Plan sequential manufacturing and assembly operations
- Estimate and generate production schedules
- Write and/or maintain manufacturing development work requests
- Create and execute purchase requisitions
- Anticipate material/part shortages or delays
- Plan and coordinate tool requirements and cost estimates
- Work internal or supplier material issues
- Provide material and manufacturing status reports
- Maintain strict adherence to business process and government compliance
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
