Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect/Analyst to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and/or data management, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and/or data management
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Innovative and forward-thinking to develop data solutions to support the sponsor's Business Intelligence objectives and implement Business Analytics strategic thrusts
- Highly proficient in using Power BI, Splunk, Excel, PowerPoint and other data analysis tools
- Experience using Power BI languages such as Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), M and C#
- Experience using Splunk query language, Splunk Processing Language (SPL) to search and analyze data
- Proficiency in languages such as SQL, Python and JavaScript to query, manipulate and store data in databases
- Experience using best practices in data governance, data quality, and data integrity to collect, display and analyze data
- Experience working with large data sets and perform data analysis, data mining, and data cleansing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identity trends and patterns in complex data sets
- Ability to perform gap analysis and make recommendations on the data that should be collected to best support the sponsor's goals and objectives
- Ability to design, develop, and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies
- Experience defining, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience executing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google) and how they can be leveraged to satisfy enterprise business analytics capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate results, patterns, and predictions to stakeholders
