Senior Mechanical Engineer (Permanent)

Senior Mechanical Engineer (Permanent) role at Babcock International. Responsible for occupational Health & Safety, leading multidisciplinary teams, and undertaking technical activities.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Marine, or other applicable discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PEng) with the applicable provincial association.
• 8+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical or Marine Engineer.
• 4+ years’ experience in systems integration and design in a marine, defence, or a related complex and safety critical industry.
• 4+ years’ experience authoring and conducting comprehensive reviews of technical documents.
• 4+ years of experience conducting Finite Element Analysis, including Linear / Non-linear Static, Transient Dynamic; and Modal is highly preferred.
