Job Description
Join our Family! This position will perform multiple tasks related to production and sanitation with the intent to primarily work in production and when needed also perform tasks related to sanitation.
Requirements
- Separate and stack packed boxes
- Setup and prepare pallets to stack packed boxes on
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using pallet jack.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards
- Picking up raw materials, finish product from the floor
- Dumping raw materials
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Perform repetitive functions paying attention to detail
- Ability to work with and around water for a long period of time
- Perform all assigned duties in a proper and timely manner
- Cooperate with supervisors and managers and ensure compliance with all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to follow and obey management instruction
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safety policies.
- Follow PPE practice when handling chemicals and using compressed air if applicable.
- Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling and working with or around equipment.
- Ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations by analysis of cleaner strengths on CIP 75 and sanitizers used during the sanitation process in a safe manner
- Reporting equipment that is damaged, shows wear, or needs replacement to a Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Follow all company SSOPs to clean and sanitize processing equipment and processing facilities.
- Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact
