Product Reliability (Support) Engineer

AXS Japan GK, a subsidiary of AEG, is seeking a Product Reliability Engineer to troubleshoot and fix issues within the company's various applications and databases. The role requires experience with database query languages, database platforms, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools, as well as coding skills in script languages and programming languages. Requirements

• University degree in a computer science or technology field
• Bilingual fluency (Japanese and English)
• Experience with database query languages (i.e. SQL)
• Experience working with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL in a production environment
• Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting tools and best practices
• Experience coding in script languages such as JavaScript, bash, python etc.
• Experience coding in programming languages such as Java or.Net
• Experience working in cloud environments
• Ability to work under pressure and in production environments
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize several tasks at once
• Proficiency in identifying and diagnosing issues within operating systems
• Capacity to create innovative solutions to unique system issues
