Software Engineer-Java

This contract position is for a Software Engineer to join the Appointment Booking/BOKA team, which is focused on maintaining a client appointment booking application. The role involves building back-end services, managing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and working with co-workers and stakeholders. The team is focused on increasing customer bookings, with around 150,000 booked per month.

Requirements

• 4-7 Years of Experience
• Experience with Java, Hibernate, Jakarta, SpringBoot and IBM WebSphere
• Experience building and testing REST APIs
• Good understanding of relational databases
• Good understanding of version control systems (git, github)
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP)
• Experience with cloud-native solutions (Terraform), containers (Docker), CI/CD pipelines (Github actions, GCP)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Solid communication skills
• Experience in an agile team
