Kafka Developer with Python

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Developer with strong Python expertise to join our team. This is a 2-year W2 contract role focused on configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Kafka clusters. Candidates should be proficient in Python, Kafka ecosystem tools, and cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python programming with experience in data processing libraries.
• Experience developing and deploying Kafka producers and consumers.
• Familiarity with Kafka ecosystem tools like Kafka Streams, KSQL, or Kafka Connect.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kafka integration.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
