Concept Artist at an independent games development studio, creating 2D concept art for internal and external projects. Collaborate with the core team to develop visually believable designs and illustrations.
Requirements
- Experience in 2D Software (Adobe Photoshop, PaintTool SAI, Clip Studio Paint, etc.)
- Experience in Image Management Software (PureRef, Adobe Bridge, Kuadro, etc.)
- Experience in Pre Production Practices (Mood Paintings, Character Sheets, etc.)
- Solid Observational Skills, in Understanding and Visualizing Shapes and Forms
- Solid Comprehension in Human and Creature Anatomy, Industrial, and Vehicular Design
- Ability to Visualize and Illustrate different Perspective, Lighting and Rendering styles
- Ability to understand complex multi-state design(s) for assets requiring animation
- Strong Imagination and Acumen in grasping and visualizing complex theories and ideas
- Experience in Traditional and or Agile work environments and methodologies
- Ability to Self-Asses, Iterate, and Improve one’s own work
- Knowledgeable in a typical game development cycle
- Is Proficient in English, verbal and written
