Aviso is looking for a Senior Analyst, Fund Reporting to join their Finance & Treasury team. The successful candidate will participate in financial and regulatory reporting of Northwest & Ethical Investments (NEI) family of investment funds, manage relationships with external service providers, and support the firm's continued growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma required, commerce or business admin preferred
- CPA accounting designation preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in fund reporting/auditing/accounting within the mutual fund/asset management industries
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards related to investment funds
- Experience with new fund launches and fund mergers is preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and continuously prioritize work
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with departments across the organization and with various service providers
- Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
