Job Description
AvePoint is seeking an analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join their Data & AI team. The role focuses on developing and deploying advanced machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges, optimize data pipelines, and extract actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to deliver impactful AI/ML solutions and contribute to AvePoint's mission of building secure, intelligent, and data-driven workplaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (PhD not required)
- 10+ years of hands-on machine learning experience
- Proficiency with Python and major ML/data libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong background in data wrangling, cleansing, feature engineering, and ETL pipeline development
- Practical experience deploying models in a cloud or distributed environment
