Job Description
Avalign produces innovative medical devices and is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to operate conventional and numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to customer specifications.
Requirements
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of a finished workpiece
- Measures and determines dimensions required on sample pieces & samples to determine conformance to finish specifications
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
- May be required to perform inspection and statistical analysis of process to determine actions necessary to maintain quality levels on parts and process
- Assist on teardowns of machines when necessary
