As a Senior Electronics / Hardware Engineer, you will design and build test equipment to scale production of our next-generation drone platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our software engineers and OEM partners to enhance test coverage and reduce testing time, driving efficiency across our manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Design and build manufacturing test solutions, including test equipment, jigs, and needle-bed adapters to enable high-volume PCB production (millions of units).
- Develop electromechanical systems for automated testing of connector interfaces and RF circuits.
- Support our engineering team by providing the test environment needed to verify their PCBs, e.g. by building test setups for climatic or interference testing.
- Plan and execute product verification, covering test case definition, execution, analysis, and comprehensive documentation, also for repair guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams by offering technical guidance and hands-on support for design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and validation of advanced avionics PCBs and modular systems.
- Generate technical documentation, including test concepts, CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly or setup instructions and repair manuals.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert on DFM aspects of PCB designs, driving improvements in yield, reliability, and production cost efficiency.
