Job Description
Aurora is seeking a Staff Security Software Engineer to design, develop, and evaluate security components for their autonomous vehicle platform. This role involves secure coding practices, architecture reviews, and ensuring successful integration with partner teams and OEMs. The team focuses on securing vehicle-to-vehicle communication and cloud services.
Requirements
- Familiar with C++17 and STL/golang
- Understand and explain autonomous vehicle security concepts
- Able to learn and create new C++ frameworks
- Write high quality production code, unit tests, integration tests
- Able to debug across module boundaries
- Familiarity with automotive protocols and security standards
- Experience building and evaluating threat models
- Familiarity with cryptography and infrastructure security
- Ability to translate product requirements into code
- Ability to lead a team and organize projects
- Ability to work cross functionally
