Staff Attorney

Audax Group is seeking a Staff Attorney to join its in-house legal and compliance team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to the Massachusetts, New York, or California bar. Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting agreements, managing corporate entities, and providing support to the compliance team.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and admitted to Massachusetts, New York, or California bar
• Detail oriented with the ability to quickly analyze agreements and provide business/legal practical recommendations
• Willingness to take new initiatives on, and to think critically about a broad variety of projects
• Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple, and varied, assignments in a demanding environment without compromising quality
• Effectively switch between negotiations with established relationships in a collegial and collaborative manner and negotiations with contract adversaries in an authoritative and firm manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high ethical standards
