Senior Risk Specialist

The Senior Risk Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance on all aspects of risk management for projects across the Infrastructure Portfolio at Auckland Airport. The role requires a sound understanding of implementing risk management policies and processes to focus teams on current risks and minimize liability exposure.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree or equivalent in project management, risk management, engineering or a related field.
• Project Management qualifications would be an advantage or equivalent relevant years of practical experience within Project Management.
• 8+ years’ risk management experience in large, complex, project centric organisations undertaking risk activities, including development and facilitation of workshops.
• Experience in Programme / Project / Operational risk management.
• Highly organised, plans and prioritises well and manages time to focus self and others on the most important activities.
• Personal resilience. Able to sustain a high level of energy and positivity while under extreme pressure.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
