Nurse Practitioner (MNA)/ Physician Assistant - Per Diem - Pediatric Urgent Care - Somerville

Atrius Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to support Urgent Care in our Pediatrics department. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric ambulatory care and be able to assess clinical problems, design and implement a treatment plan, and work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

• National certification as an FNP, PPCNP, or CPNP
• Graduate from an accredited master's degree NP program
• State licensure to practice as an APRN
• National certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration
• Minimum of two years of pediatric ambulatory care experience
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and patient interviewing skills
• Ability to interpret clinical information and develop a plan of care
• Prioritization, multitasking, and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
