Job Description
We are seeking a Cognos Developer to manage the design and development of management reports on company intranet. The ideal candidate will have advanced Cognos Report Development skills, including COGNOS Dynamic cubes and Powerplay Transformer. Experience with SSAS Development, SQL, and ETL is a plus.
Requirements
- Analyzes, designs and develops board room quality Cognos models, reports, and dashboards.
- Tests and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
- Works closely with data modelers to build and support the IBM Cognos metadata models.
- Develops and implements interactive dashboards to help drive business decisions.
- Understands business requirements and translates them into high quality Cognos report deliverables.
- Monitors and responds to different tickets/defects.
- Expert in SQL including performance tuning.
- Troubleshoots/resolves help desk tickets in accordance with all SLA established timeframes.
- Manages/handles deployments into UAT and production environments.
